"In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Space Week will be an annual event that includes the Russian Space Forum. The 2026 edition of the Forum will take place at the RUSSIA National Centre in Moscow on 9 April. As the year marks the 65th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's space flight – an event that defined our country's place in space history – the Forum will showcase the achievements of the Soviet and Russian space industry over the years, how they help people, and the prospects for the future. The Forum will also focus on human resource development for young people and opportunities for investors to work within the public-private partnership programme. Not only is space one of the most hi-tech industries, but it is also part of our national culture," noted Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the Space Week Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov.
The most important goal of the Russian Space Forum is to create a safe space for an open dialogue among all participants in the space industry. Representatives of government and state corporations, international partners, investors, scientists, and engineers will be able to communicate directly, without intermediaries – a format that will contribute to the rapid and high-quality modernization of the Russian space industry.
"I am confident that the Russian Space Forum will become an important platform for dialogue at all levels. Space has no boundaries, and we invite all participants in space activities to join us. It is my belief that it is only through broad international cooperation that humanity will be able to make giant leaps in the peaceful exploration of space," asserted Roscosmos General Director Dmitry Bakanov.
The Forum is organized by the Roscosmos State Corporation, the operator is the Roscongress Foundation, with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation.
